Urban bodies will have to increase their sources of income. They should make regular recovery of taxes which includes property tax, water tax and other taxes. Principal Secretary Urban Administration and Development Sanjay Dubey said this during the basic and vocational training programme of the Chief Municipal Officers at Atal Behari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis
Principal Secretary Dubey said that no officer-employee works under ideal conditions. He said that the challenge is to give better results under all circumstances. Dubey said that when you inform the public representative that this work cannot be done, then also explain what is the alternative. Principal Secretary Dubey said that it is your duty to comply with the rules and regulations of the Government.
He said that action should be taken in accordance with the existing regulations of the Government in relation to putting up hoardings and banners in the city.
Dubey said that the remaining amount of the regulations will be released soon. He gave the answers to the questions of the trainees in detail.
Dubey said that the problems of the department can be discussed in the video conferencing also. Chief Advisor of the Institute Girish Sharma was present in programme.
