It seems that the Modi effect has started showing its result and a ray of hope is seen by the judo player Rajneesh Maandiya who lives in a small village in Mhow tehsil as a senior Congress leader and former Union minister who was not responding to summons for the last 12 years received the warrant of the Mhow court to appear before it on August 26.
The judo player and gold winner of Madhya Pradesh Maandiya was the part of the Madhya Pradesh judo team that participated in 32 national games held at Hyderabad and Vishakhapatnam in the year 2002 and won the bronze medal in above 100 kg category. He was awarded with the medal but the certificate of winning bronze medal was not provided to him. When he asked for certificate the authorities told that the certificate will be provided to him later as the higher authorities have not signed it.
After returning to Madhya Pradesh when he asked for the certificate from the Madhya Pradesh judo federation they told him that he has to approach the All India Judo Federation in New Delhi. He went to New Delhi several times and met the president of the federation and senior Congress leader Jagdish Tytler but Tytler did not give ear to his problem.
At last in year 2004 he approached Mhow court. Mhow court sent repeated notices to Tytler but the notices always returned stating that Tytler is not available in New Delhi.
last month the Mhow court of Saroj Mujalde issued the arrest warrant for Tytler to appear in the court on August 26 but still Tytler did not appear in the court though the vice-president of the federation Prahalad Singh appeared in the court and told that Tytler has fractured his leg and he is unable to come to Mhow. The court has ordered Tytler to appear for the next hearing on September 16.
Maandiya said that it may be possible that the higher authorities signed the certificate and the federation officer-bearers must have filled the name of some other person and sold it. Because the certificate is a big qualification for getting Class 1 officer services in the state and Central government. On his certificate some other person must have secured the job in any other part of the country, he alleged.
