Over half a dozen two-wheelers were set ablaze on PC Nagar EWS building late on Tuesday night; Habibganj police have started search for the miscreants. After the incident locals protested and demanded arrest of miscreants, who set ablaze two wheelers at PC Nagar by unidentified miscreants.
Locals took to road after six two wheelers were damaged after they were torched late in the night. Panic prevailed in the area in the wee hours after parked two wheelers were torched by miscreants. In the incident six two wheelers were damaged completely. The two wheelers were of people residing in EWS building at PC Nagar.
Police said that in the investigation, nothing was found regarding the miscreants who have torched the vehicles.
In the area no CCTV camera is installed which could help in revealing the details of the miscreaxnts involved in the arson.Police have denied any dispute between that lead to the incident. The incident of setting ablaze vehicles has been witnessed in the past in same area.
On receiving the information of fire police team reached the spot and along with the locals pacified and controlled the fire.The locals claimed that anti-social elements in the area roam freely and no action is taken from the police making them fearless.
The CCTV cameras at the squares and roundabouts would be investigated.
Based on the details provided by the victims police have registered case against accused and started to search for the miscreants.
