DIG, Indore, Manish Kapuria has given a clear instruction to track the theft incidents as it is a big economic loss to the common man.
Two different gangs of thieves were arrested by Kishanganj police station and 10 different cases of thefts were busted for which SP, West Indore, Mahesh Chandra Jain has declared a award of Rs 5000 to the police team.
The thief gang was also involved in smuggling of liquor. ASP, Mhow, Puneet Gehlot and SDOP Vinod Sharma told that the gold and silver jewels worth value Rs 8 lakh, Rs 1,41,500 cash, three cooking gas cylinders and three luxury cars were confiscated from the thief gang. The thief gang use to roam in car in different colonies and identify the locked houses and in this way, they committed theft in Shanti Paradise colony, Ekta Nagar, Vishwas Nagar, Caps Town, Saidham colony, Decent colony, Girnar City colony, Sanskriti Park colony and Pigdamber police line colony and liquor shop at chopati.
The jeweller Ravijaweri, resident of Gulab Bag colony Mangalia used to purchase the stolen jewellery who is presently absconding. The thief purchased three luxury cars with the stolen goods and use to spend the money lavishly in gambling drinking and drugs.
