The TT Nagar police have arrested a 26-year-old youth who killed his father by smashing his head with a blunt object at Tulsi Nagar on Saturday.
The deceased Chandrabhan Shinde had a fight with his wife and frustrated over the fight their son Nikhil hit him with a grinding stone and took him to hospital where he was declared dead.
Nikhil tried to fabricate murder as accident and told hospital and police that his father died after he fell from bed and murder was later revealed in the post mortem.
Police said that information was received from JP Hospital Bhopal by that injured Chandrabhan Shinde father Sadashiv Shinde age 50 years resident-Tulsi Nagar was brought by family members who were in unconscious condition for treatment and when checked he was found dead.
The family members told the hospital that he died due to injury due to falling from the bed. On information, the post-mortem of the deceased was conducted by the police.
In the post-mortem report, there was a head injury among the deceased, on whuch family members were questioned and the son of deceased confess the murder. After the deceased had a dispute with his wife, the accused son Nikhil admitted to killing his father by injuring his father with a grinding stone.
