Shashi Ranjan Prasad, Executive Director, BHEl (Bhopal) hoisted the National Flag on the occasion of 66th Republic Day celebration at Piplani Parade ground BHEl, Bhopal. Prasad also received the march past by CISF contingents and schoolchildren. PK Goyal, General Manager, HR & HRDC; Vishwas Bhave, General Manager, MM & President BHECNIS; Aradhana, Commandant, CISF and all other GM's were present.
Prasad, while addressing the gathering, said that since Independence, BHEl, Bhopal, and its employees have been contributing to keep the wheel of progress in motion. He further urged the gathering to work with full commitment and dedication to achieve the stated target.
Highlighting the major achievements of various manufacturing blocks of the unit, he said that quality along with reduction in capital cost should be ensured. At the end, Prasad wished the gathering a prosperous Republic Day and said that it was because of the hard work of the employees of BHEl, the company had been able to make a unique place in the global industrial arena.
BHECNIS on this occasion organised the ‘All India Kavi Sammelan’ in the evening. Earlier, a cricket match was also held at Sports Club where large number of employees took part. On this occasion, the tableau prepared by Bangiya Sanskritik Parishad on the theme ‘Swachchh Bharat’ won the first prize. Also, the CISF contingents showcased their skills with the weapons on this occasion.
