Tight security arrangements have been made for enjoying festive season with peace and harmony in the city. latest and technically advanced security equipments would be provided to maintain law and order during the festive season.
IG (law and Order) State Police Headquarters Makrand Deuskar told that in the wake of festive season all the districts have been provided with latest surveillance equipments, drone cameras at different important places, camera installed vehicles, bomb disposal vehicles and squads and security equipments based on advance technology.
Deuskar told that apart from district police force six companies of central para military force, 21 companies of Director General of Police reserve force, SAF personnel and police force from Chhattishgarh has been deployed at districts.
Apart from the deployment of police personnel staff of Dial-100 has been provided with special training and this specially trained staff of Dial-100 would be deployed for emergency situations.
It has been ensured that the vehicles and equipment provided at the district levels should be in proper working condition.
To maintain law and order during the upcoming festive season police have appealed that citizens should not pay attention to rumors and should remain away from evoking or provoking by mischief creating characters.
The biggest threat which could make the situation worse is social media and taking consideration of the fact it has been decided that strict vigil of social media would be done. Attention towards anti-social elements would be paid as they can disturb the communal fabric of the city.
