Three new courses have been started in Makhan lal Chaturvedi Rashtriya Patrakarita avam Sanchar Vishwavidyalaya from 2015-16 session. The admission process in various courses has been started. For admission the students can only apply online. The last date of online applications is May 31. The applications can be made on website www.mcu.ac.in and www.mcu.testbharti.com. The new courses include two-year MSC, film production and MA in new media content design and three-year course in BBAE commerce.
Giving this information PRO to vice-chancellor lajpat Ahuja said the MP Government established national university of media in 1990 to honor social media ideals of great editor literary and freedom fighter Makhan lal Chaturvedi.
The university campus is running in Bhopal-based central campus, Khandawa, Gwalior, Amarkantak and National Capital Region Noida technology city. There is a great network of more than 900 study institutions in various provinces of the country.
In the university 15 PG, 9 graduate and 2 diploma courses are offered. In the 2 years PG course, MA Science and Public Relations, MA public communication, MA broadcasting journalism, MSC electronic media and MSC media research are being conducted. Four-year B. tech printing and packing, 3-year B.Tech printing and packages courses are also available.
Under 3-year graduate courses, BA public communication, BSC electronic media, BBA public communication, BSC graphics and animation, BSC multimedia and BCA courses are being conducted. In computer PG courses, MCA 2 years, lateral entry course is also being conducted. 1 year PGDCA and DCA course are also being conducted. In the media study applications are invited for M.Phil.
The university is also conducting the courses of media management, advertisement and marketing communication, entertainment and corporate communication. For admission in MBA courses CMAT examination would be conducted by AICTE for which MP technical education directorate would conduct counselling.
This admission process for the campus of university of Bhopal, NOIDA, Bhopal, Khandawa and Amarkantak. The students who have given examination in the final of the eligibility test can also apply for admission. For admission the admission test would be conducted on 7th June 2015 in Bhopal, Kolkatta, Jaipur, Patna, Ranchi, lucknow, Noida, Raipur, Khandawa, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Anoopur.
