Fuelled with old enmity a 24-year-old youth was attacked by three miscreants with sharp edged weapons at Azad Nagar under Jehangirabad police station area on Tuesday.
According to the police a youth was attacked by three miscreants with sharp edged weapons and escaped the spot in the early morning hours on Tuesday. The victim was rushed to Hamidia hospital where his condition was reportedly stable.
A complaint was lodged with the Jehangirbad police and in the complaint victim claimed that at around 7 am when he was sleeping the three accused Adil khan, Aslam Khan and Amir Khan arrived at his house and asked him to come outside and when he came outside his house he was attacked by the three with sharp edged weapons and was injured in his abdomen, neck and hands.
Police were informed and on the receipt of the information a team reached the spot.
Based on the complaint a case under section 307 and 34 of the IPC was registered by the police. The police have started further investigation into the matter and have started search for the absconding accused.
The victim escaped with minor injuries and was later discharged from the hospital claimed the police.
During the investigation police found that the miscreants have a fight with the victim in the past and to settle score the victim was attacked.
After the victim raised alarm miscreants escaped the spot and are still missing.
Police have started searching details of the absconding accused and claimed that they would be nabbed soon.
