Crime branch Bhopal nabbed a miscreant from Aishbagh who along with his accomplices on the charge of stealing a bag carrying Rs 11000 and recovered scooter and Rs 8000 cash on Monday.
Acting on a tip off regarding a man on a scooter who was involved in stealing bag from the victim at Sehore hospital three weeks ago was nabbed from Aishbagh.
The nabbed accused was identified as Rabiul Khan (25) who confessed that along with Gulshan and Maddy alias Manoj Choudhary in Sehore they took victim to Rana Uday hospital in their car bearing registration number MP04V0087 who met accident after his motorbike skidded near bus stand and at the hospital they took victim’s bag and escaped the spot. The victim gave the bag to Gulshan to keep it securely but as soon as he got the bag he signaled to leave the place. The two left for Budni while Khan returned Bhopal.
Rabiul was riding scooter bearing registration number MP04SU4699 which was seized by the police in the investigation. Police recovered Rs 8000 from Khan and have started search for the absconding accused. The accused and scooter was handed over to Kotwali police Sehore and based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police registered a case under section 406 and 34 of the IPC and started further investigation and nabbed the miscreant on Monday.
The earlier crime record of the three and details of the two would be investigated.
The accused was nabbed after the footages and pictures were shared by the Sehore police with the police of the nearby districts and police stations.
