On the second day of the four-day ISIE Solar Electric Vehicle Championship 2016 being held at Radharaman Group campus, the technical inspection of 76 participating cars were completed.
Besides, the teams were also made Business Plan and Marketing Strategy presentations to prove commercial viability. President of ISIE Vinod Gupta and group director of Radharaman Group Prof Jl Rana were present on the occasion.
During Business Plan and Marketing Strategy presentation the teams narrated their strong points such as why their vehicles are adoptable, what are their salient features, why they can go for mass production, why their projects should be considered for Start Up India for necessary funding etc.
The participating students informed that their vehicles can be used at airports, zoo, golf course, educational and corporate premises and big covered residential colonies.
The technical rounds were conducted by well experienced judges from automobile and academic experts from various institutions. They included Manish Kumar from TVS Motors, Jyoti Prasad Shete from l&T, Ketan Jangra from DCM Engineering and Huzufa Bhagat from FEV-North America. They conducted driver safety, breaking, steering, suspension and vision tests for all the 76 vehicles.
