PNS

Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Girish Gautam said that youth are the carriers of  revolution in any country and our country has the largest number of youth at this time.

He was addressing Indian Youth Parliament program on 'Active participation of youth in democracy'.

Vice Chancellor of Vikram University Ujjain Prof Akhilesh Kumar Pandey and President of Madhya Pradesh Institute of Social Sciences Prof Gopal Krishna Sharma were also present in the program. About 300 youths participated in this program focused on youth, including Ujjain, youth from Madhya Pradesh and outside the state.

Gautam in his address said that youth from different states have participated in this program. Therefore, the choice of language is important for dialogue.

He said that the big question is also that youth is the largest population in the country and only youth can be the vehicle of revolutionary change in any country. Usually the citizens in the age group of 15 to 40 years fall in the category of youth and their responsibility is important.

He said that before Macaulay's system of education was implemented in this country, youth used to study in the famous Nalanda University and other similar universities and schools but after the introduction of the new education system, all these were closed.

Gautam said that the ideology of any political party is only for the upliftment of the weaker sections of the society. All parties do the same thing. However, questions may arise about its implementation or results but there is no party which does not talk about the interest of the poor.

Apart from Madhya Pradesh, youth from Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Assam, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Delhi also participated in the programme.
