The Special Task Force (STF) of Madhya Pradesh Police, who was investigating a fake mark-sheet scam in the State Open School, started scrutinising the documents seized from the State Open School Council.

Sources in the STF informed The Pioneer that more names could be revealed during the scrutiny of the documents which would help in nailing other culprits involved in the nexus. It further said that these culprits had been successfully running the racket for several years and then escaped after the scam came to light.

Meanwhile, sleuths of the Special Task Force on Monday questioned main accused in the PMT-2013 examination scam - Dr Sanjeev Shilpkar and Vikas Singh in the alleged transactions of 92 students, who have cleared the exam with the help of fraudsters.

Among the other accused who were employed with the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board(MPPEB) exam controller Pankaj Trivedi, system analyst Nitin Mahendra, Ajay Sen and Chandrakant Mishra were also grilled.

The PMT-2012 examination is also being investigated after STF got clues regarding facilitating the candidates to clear the exam with the help of ‘scorers’. During the investigation of PMT-2013 it was found that the nexus has also helped the candidates in clearing PMT-2012 and around 700 suspicious roll numbers were short listed for investigation.
