Union Minister for Skill Development Rajiv Pratap Rudy has said the steps taken by the Union Government to curb terrorism in the country would soon bear positive results. Inaugurating a skill development centre in the city here today, the Union Minister said that in the past three years of its rule in the country, the Government has achieved many successes.
"We have fulfilled all the promises which we had made with the electorates. The country and its people have reposed tremendous faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the current Government. Formation of our Government in Uttar Pradesh and other States are a pointer to this fact," he said, adding that his party not only talks about patriotism but also talks about welfare of the poor, farmers and youths and accordingly working for them.
Replying to a question, he said that while we cannot change the neighbor, we can give a befitting reply to its nefarious designs. On beef controversy, Rudy said the Governments in many States have their own rules but the Union Government has been keeping a close watch on controversies surrounding beef.
Talking about Bihar, Rudy said the current situation in Bihar is quite dreadful. The coalition Government of lalu and Nitish in Bihar is based on casteism and nepotism. There people run the Government from the jail.
