To promote tourism activities in Madhya Pradesh, the State Tourism Development Corporation has introduced Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Awards. This would help the Corporation in promoting tourism destinations in the State.
In an official statement, the Corporation stated that entries are invited for the awards in 22 different categories by August 27, 2016. Entries for the awards would be accepted online without any registration fees.
The categories in which awards would be given are Best Tour Operators (National), Best Travel Agent (MP), Tourism Transportation Operators (MP), Adventurous Tour Operators, Best Hotel or Heritage Hotel, Home Stay, Best Chef of MP, Convention Centre, Responsible Tourism Project, Best City for Civil Management and District Tourism Preservation Council.
Similarly, awards would also be given to the Best Guide of MP, Innovative Tourism Project, MP Tourist Friendly Monument, Tourist Friendly National Park or Sanctuary, Route Facility Centre, Tourist Friendly Shrine, Amusement or Water Park, Best Restaurant, Best Sculptor and Best Travel Writer or Blogger.
Notably, in the line of making Madhya Pradesh as the most favorite and famous tourist centre, the State Tourism Development Corporation has initiated excellence awards to promote the people and the institutions working in tourism sector.
