As a part of crime awareness campaign run by the Women Crime Police Headquarters, Bhopal a total of 700 energy women help desks will be inaugurated in the entire Madhya Pradesh on March 31, 2021 .
The inauguration would be done DIG Irshad Wali, in the NIC Center Collector Office, through online video conference at 4.30 pm on Wednesday. All 40 police stations of Bhopal this helpdesk would be inaugurated.
Women Help Cell, Bhopal has set up a Center for Energy Help Desk in all these police stations and their operators have been provided training through webinars as well as distribution of circulars and books.
This Energy Women Help Desk will work as joint effort and coordination of Police, Legal Services Authority, Women and Child Development, Health Department, Law Department, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Labor Department, Scheduled Castes Development Department and NGO.
This energy women help desk, is the first point of contact to the woman complainant, making the woman complainant aware of the legal provisions, explaining the legal process, providing all possible legal help, helping women problems through institutions, women medical, financial, rehabilitation Helping in assistance, taking action by identifying the major area of crime of women. Under this, training of every energy help desk operator has been done. POCSO related books have been distributed at each police station.
