State Congress would hold demonstrations at all the district headquarters of the state on July 1 in protest against the infamous Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination (MPPEB) scam.

Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee President Arun Yadav in a letter to all the district and city Congress presidents urged them to hold demonstrations at 13 hours on July 1 to register protest against the MPPEB scam.

Now the Congress workers should hit the roads to struggle for the injustice and fraud held with lakhs of youth and students of the state, said Yadav in his letter to his party leaders.

Yadav said that after the demonstration at the district headquarters, a memorandum addressed to the Governor should be handed over to the respective district collectors. It is the responsibility of the Congress workers and leaders to get justice for the victims of the MPPEB Scam, he added.

He said that large scale corruption is going on in the state and right from chief minister to his cabinet colleagues and from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders to officer’s corruption is going on a much planned way. Over a crore people of the state have lost their faith in the state government due to MPPEB scam that has shattered the dreams of many aspiring youth of the state. Fraud has been done with some in the name of medical admissions while fraud has been done with some in the name of examination for recruitments, he added.

The state Congress chief said that it is shameful on part of the state government that lakhs of youths were made to pay in the name of examination fees whereas the results of these examinations were already sold by taking hefty amounts. In various recruitment examinations for different positions money changed hands and ineligible persons were provided jobs, he added.
