Stage is all set to change the name of Hoshangabad railway station to Narmadapuram. According to the information, the name of Hoshangabad Railway Station will now be changed to Narmadapuram Railway Station.
The central government has not raised any objection to changing the name of the station. The proposal to change the name of the railway station has been approved by the Centre.
In the recent times, the Uttar Pradesh government has renamed Allahabad as Prayagraj and the name of Faizabad has been changed to Ayodhya. Similarly, Habibganj railway station in Madhya Pradesh has been renamed as Rani Kamlapati railway station.
