Six accused involved in abducting driver of a private firm in Govindpura industrial area were nabbed by the Ashoka Garden police late in the night on Saturday.
According to the police the victim Sandeep Raikwar works as a driver with Ultratech Company at Govindpura and was kidnapped on Saturday by ex employee and his co-worker along with other accomplices but was later rescued and the accused were nabbed.
During the investigation police found that few days ago the main accused Kailash Dhakad who used to work in the same company with the victim was removed from his services. After he was fired he grew suspicious that the victim is responsible behind his termination and decided to teach lesson to the victim.
Dhakad along with five others kidnapped the victim. The nabbed accuseds were identified as Kailash, Annu, Ansar, Anwar, Abir and Akash. The car used in the abduction was bought by one of the accused Ansar few months ago.
Victim was kidnapped from Govindpura area near the company where he works at around 5 pm but acting swiftly the police were able to nab the miscreants and rescue the victim.
The accused were produced in the court on Sunday and have been sent under judicial custody. Involvement of the main accused and his accomplices would be searched in the further investigation.
Police claimed that the possibility of the involvement of the nabbed accused in other crimes could not be ruled out and would be investigated in the further investigation.
