Simhastha becomes source of happiness

PNS

Simhastha has become a source of happiness in the life of Rohit Ahirwar, a resident of Freeganj, Ujjain. Rohit who did menial work at a grocery shop till about 2 months has become owner of e-rickshaw availing benefit of scheme implemented by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to provide employment to unemployed people.

Though there are lakhs of beneficiaries of Chief Minister's schemes for unemployed people, yet story of 28 years old Rohit of Freeganj is a bit different. Rohit carries responsibility to maintain his parents and expenditure on siblings' education. He was hard pressed to meet these expenses with meagre wages as worker of grocery shop. He expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister saying that he has implemented schemes keeping in view welfare of lakhs of BPl persons like him.

Availing benefit of the scheme of Entrepreneur Development Corporation, Rohit is now owner of an e-rickshaw earning Rs  800 to Rs 1000 per day. He informed that Allahabad Bank's Freeganj branch extended loan of Rs  1.50 lakh to him on which government gave him subsidy worth Rs  45,000.

The bank has fixed monthly installment of Rs 3200 to repay the loan, which he is depositing regularly. Even after depositing installment, Rohit is earning Rs  20,000 to 22,000 per month.

Rohit is happy that not only he has become owner of e-rickshaw, but is also earning religious merit by transporting Simhastha devotees.
