The Abhushan Bazaar 2019 was a hit in city as shopaholics enjoyed shopping for unique jewellery.
The historical shopping hub of the city Gauhar Mahal was embellished with ‘Abhushan Bazar 2019’ that concluded here on Tuesday. The exhibition was organized by Handloom and Handicraft Development Department.
A variety of imitation jewellery from tribal, handloom, new trends all kinds of jewellery were displayed here.
Around 50 Self Help Groups (SHGs) have participated in the exhibition cum sale and brought the special item of their region.
The mela was all about handloom and handicraft materials and it displayed a huge collection of Thewa jewellery, jute jewellery, black metal, silver metal, pearls and other kinds are available. Further, it also showcased a collection of dress materials from Punjab, Jaipur, Rajasthan and Banaras.
The catch of the exhibition cum sale was Satna, bamboo jewellery, Royal Hyderabadi jewellery, stone jewellery, tribal jewellery of different regions.
Organiser of the exhibition cum sale Sudesh Shrivastava said, “We organise such fairs just to provide a platform to the Self Help Groups (SHGs) working in different parts of the country, plus for the people to enjoy shopping from various States,” he added.
