Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Bandhavgarh Shivnarayan Meena filed nomination on Tuesday.  “Bless me with your votes,” he requested the elders and people of the constituency after filing his nomination.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP state president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan and large number of BJP workers were present on the occasion. later addressing the election meeting chief minister Chouhan and BJP state president Nandkumar Singh requested the electorate of the constituency to provide their valuable support to BJP for the regional development and comprehensive development of the state.

CM Chouhan in his address to the electorate said, “For decades Congress governments remained at the centre and in the state that always emotionally exploited the people, it never tried to make people self dependent.”

CM Chouhan further said that the initiatives made by the BJP after assuming power are resulting in relief and relax for the common man in the state and the country. During the scarcity days Congress served red wheat to the people of the country that was not appropriate for human use. The BJP after assuming power made provisions to provide wheat, rice and iodized salt at just Rs 1 per kilogram to the poor, tribal and schedule caste families to provide them financial and social relief, he added.

He said that the BJP government of the state not only made state self dependent in food products production but made it surplus state in food products production. BY providing interest free loans to farmers and providing rebate of 10 per cent on seeds and fertilizers made farming community debt free. During Congress rule farmers used to get interest at 18 per cent and they used to born in debt, led life under debt and used to die under debt. The big question is that the people should consider that why the Congress did not provide this facility, he added.
