Sewa Sadan has facilitated free diagnosis of Refraction error to 140 prisoners of Central Jail on Tuesday. This facility was made in the presence of R.K. Jain, President Lions Club and M.K. Jain Past District Governor. Out of these 26 prisoners were diagnosed cataract complaint, who were referred to SewaSadan eye Hospital for surgeries.
Apart from this, free spectacles were provided to 83 prisoners with weak eyesight. Free medicines were also provided to all the prisoners by SewaSadan. Apart from cataract, 2 patients were found Pterygium complaint and they were also advised for early operation.
Eash Kumar Chaubey, Sr. Optometrist, Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital, examined the vision impairment of the prisoners. This facility was given to the prisoners under the super vision of Kushal Dharmani, Hospital Administrator of SewaSadan. Dr. Premendra Sharma, Medical Officer of Central Jail Bhopal, arranged to this facility in very systematic manner.
