State Election Commissioner Basant Pratap Singh said that all preparations should be made in time-limit regarding the three-tier panchayat and urban body elections. He said that there should be no negligence at any level. Shri Singh gave these instructions during the review of election preparations in the commission.
Singh discussed other points besides polling box, EVMs, voting material, formation of polling parties. He also asked the commissioners and IGs of all the divisions to discuss through video conferencing about making adequate security arrangements on the day of polling. He directed to make budget available as per requirement to the districts for honorarium and other materials.
Secretary State Election Commission Shri Rakesh Singh, OSD Shri Durg Vijay Singh, Deputy Secretary Shri Arun Parmar and other officers were present.
