The State Government has directed to upload information about progress of construction of toilets sanctioned for primary and middle level schools in all the districts under the Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan on the website of the Union Human Resource Development Ministry (HRD). login and password for locking physical progress of toilets and uploading photographs on the website have been sent to e-mail addresses of District Education Offices (DEOs).
Directives have been given to contact Rajya Shiksha Kendra if any difficulty is experienced in getting them or uploading information on the website. Individual responsibility of updating physical progress of toilets on the website has been entrusted to district project coordinators by the State Government. It is noteworthy that information about progress of toilets for boys and girls was locked on the website.
Directives were issued to furnish details of it in Excel file through e-mail to Jila Shiksha Kendras and to update the same till February 6 and then send it to Rajya Shiksha Kendra. But, information has been received only from Anuppur, Ashok Nagar, Balaghat, Barwani, Betul, Bhind, Burhanpur, Chhindwara, Damoh, Mandla, Harda, Hoshangabad, Indore, Jhabua, Khandwa, Khargone, Mandla, Morena, Narsinghpur, Panna, Rajgarh, Ratlam, Satna, Sehore, Shahdol, Shivpuri, Sidhi, Singrauli and Vidisha. Information from remaining districts is yet to be received. The information received about progress of toilets from districts has been updated on the website. Photographs could not be updated since they were not received in prescribed format.
