CGM of State Bank of India, Bhopal Circle Binod Kumar Mishra today visited the home of Martyr Lance Naik Jitendra Kumar (who lost his life in recent Helicopter Crash near Coonoor) and expressed his deepest condolences and grief to the bereaved family members.
During his visit Mishra, presented cheques relating to two insurance claims totaling to Rs. 48.40 lacs which were settled in shortest possible time. Out to the total amount, Rs. 30 Lakhs was on account of the accidental death benefit provided to Defense staff under Defense Salary Package and Rs. 18.40 lacs being the settlement of SBI Life insurance policies.
The cheques were presented to Mrs. Sunita w/o Martyr Lance Naik Jitendra Kumar. CGM Binod Kumar Mishra also emphasized the need for insurance coverage of maximum possible lives so that affected families are well taken care of, in case of such unfortunate incidents. S Giridhar (General Manager), Anurag Bhargava (Deputy General Manager) and Alok Jain (Regional Manager) also paid tribute to Martyr Lance Naik Jitendra Kumar and expressed their condolences to the family.
