The boxing players will get a platform to showcase their talent under Khelo India Talent Identification.
Notably, instructions regarding organizing talent identification for the selection of players in Khelo India Small Center are issued by Sports Authority of India (SAI) Bhopal. In the selection committee, coach at SAI Bhopal Gurdeep Singh, Indore has been appointed as the coach at Tatya Tope Boxing Center, Bhopal. Besides, Rahul Pasi, who is newly appointed and posted under Khelo India, will identify the children in the talent identification for the selection of players at the Tatya Tope Stadium. His role will be in the forefront in the selection of players.
It is noteworthy that Sports Authority of India selects talent from all parts of India and develops them into competitive athletes. Besides, the trained athletes participate in national and international level events. Moreover, talent identification is a process by which children are encouraged to participate in the sports at which they are most likely to succeed, based on results of testing selected parameters.
This is a unique initiative of SAI, Bhopal. Through this process, children and players who are talented in boxing will be identified. Moreover, they will be given special training in boxing after selection. This process will identify these players not only in Madhya Pradesh but in India. Hence, the name of the state will also be written in golden letters.
