Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind vice president and noted Islamic scholar from the city Mufti Abdul Razzaq said that the saffron organisations like Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Vishva Hindu Parishad   (VHP) and Bajrang Dal (BD) are vitiating the atmosphere of the State and trying to destabilise Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Mufti Razzaq while addressing media persons here on Monday at Masjid Tarjume wali said, “Worried over increasing popularity of Chief Minister Chouhan among the Muslims, the saffron organisations are vitiating the atmosphere in the State, rioting in Manawar, Bagh, Dewas and other places in past few days is the proof that these organisations are out to destroy the peaceful atmosphere of the State.”

Mufti Razzaq further said Chief Minister Chouhan is a very good human being but some of his party leaders who are hand in gloves with these saffron outfits are hatching conspiracy to defame him and that is why they are making all out efforts to destabilise the State Government of their own party. The Chief Minister understands these gimmicks however he should make efforts to contain them, he added.

Without naming anybody, the Islamic scholar alleged that the BJP leaders having hold in Malwa belt of the State are behind the efforts to vitiate the atmosphere of the State.

He also said that Muslims never initiate riots because Islam gives the message of staying away from bad and evil and called on the Muslims to avoid the rioters by sitting in their homes but if it comes on their lives then they should not refrain from giving away their lives or taking rioters lives.

“Maintain peace and don’t engage in rioting or other things that could damage the peaceful atmosphere of the State but if someone attacks you and you don’t have any other solution but to kill him or to die for saving others from rioters, do not hesitate and go ahead,” said Mufti Abdul Razzaq.
