Ruckus was created by more than two dozen relatives of woman who died due to delay in providing treatment of doctors at Paliwal hospital alleged family members of deceased woman on Sunday; hospital staff was manhandled by the angry relatives.
Massive damage was made by the relatives of the deceased identified as Narmadi Bai in the age group of 55-60 years.
SHO Govindpura Ashok Singh Parihar said that the doctors have claimed that the deceased identified as Narmadi Bai was brought dead and they have also pronounced her death.
The relatives have alleged that the Narmadi was alive and hospital staff demanded advance payment for admitting the patience. The deceased was suffering from Tuberculosis for long and was undergoing treatment. After her condition deteriorated in the morning she was brought to the hospital where she was declared dead which irked the relatives of the family and they asked to check properly. Again doctors told the same which made the relatives infuriated and they started to vandalise the hospital.
Soon after the vandalism was started police were informed and on the receipt of the information police teams were rushed to the spot and intervened to stop the vandalism. Family members have alleged that the deceased was alive but the doctors were not ready to attend her and asked to deposit money as advance for treatment and provide treatment and later she died after few minutes
Police have registered case against those involved in damaging the hospital. One of the male nurse was beaten brutally.
