Open Mega Digital Job Fair was organized at Rabindranath Tagore University on Wednesday.
As many as 25 national and multinational companies participated in this open job fair. The companies like Colabera, Vardhman Yarns, Clinical Works, Our Food Pvt., Do It Lean, SGS Technical Services were a part of the mega job fair.
Abhishek Shroti, Training and Placement Officer of the university said that this open digital job fair is for the final year students of ITI, Diploma Graduate and Post Graduate Engineering, Commerce, Management IT, Arts, Agriculture, Law, Science, Education, Nursing and Paramedical.
He further informed that it was organized for a large number of students studying in the 2021 and pass out batch participated in this job fair.
It is to be noted that till now more than 285 students got selected in various companies. So far, packages up to 4 lakh per annum have been offered in this fair.
University Vice Chancellor Bramhaprakash Pethia informed that the possibilities of online placement of students of all courses of the university are being explored extensively. Companies are also sharing their demand for online recruitment with the university. In the changing scenario of education due to Corona, the university is making continuous use of various virtual and online platforms for placements.
University Registrar Vijay Singh said that the University organizes Job Fair every year. The purpose of which is to provide such a platform where students can get job opportunities in top companies of the country.
