Presiding over the programme Santosh Chaube, senior poet and Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, said that Vanamali said that "I am ready to give up everything in the story but I consider it very essential to have intensity and dramatic elements in it."
Santosh Choubey further said that Vanmali used to say that "Don't finish the story immediately. Keep it for four-six months. Then read it leisurely. It is very important for the dryness and tightness of the language." Vanamali used to write the story as a poem. The poetic language craft, visual writing, thorough analysis and psychological acumen are clearly outlined in his stories.
On this occasion, Mukesh Verma, senior storyteller and Chairman of Vanmali Srijan Peeth said that the creation of Vanmali is our invaluable heritage. It gives us a new light from the literary point of view towards social concerns.
