In a clear case of road rage, a woman lawyer’s husband and another person was injured near Mangal Bhavan under Ayodhya Nagar police station late on Monday night. In the brawl, cars of both the persons were also damaged.
According to the police, Sangeeta Joshi and her husband Vikrant Joshi’s car was damaged and was attacked by Bheem Singh Bhadoria near Joshi’s house and Bhadoria has also made the same complaint against Joshi couple.
Additional Superintendent of Police Zone 1 Riyaz Iqbal said that it is clearly a case of road rage in which both the parties have lodged complaints and cases have been registered. The two cars were found damaged, which suggests that the two groups have harmed people of other group.
Iqbal said that in the initial investigation, it was found that Joshi was reversing the car in which the car brushed Bhadouria’s car, which was parked near road, which led to the fight.
The police are ready for further investigation and would record statements in complaints after the fight was pacified. The fresh allegations leveled by Sangeeta Joshi would be investigated.
A case was registered against Vikrant Joshi based on the complaint lodged by Bheem Singh Bhadouria and based on the complaint lodged by Vikrant Joshi, a case was registered against Bheem Singh Bhadouria and his son Aman Singh Bhadouria.
The police have registered a case under section 294 and 323 of the IPC and have started further investigation. Vikrant Joshi sustained injury in his head while Bheem sustained minor injuries.
