Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu would perform the ‘Bhumipujan’ of lalitpur – Singrauli rail line in Sidhi on October 18; Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has claimed that opening of this railway line would
bring new era of development for Vindhya region of the State.
BJP Madhya Pradesh president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan while addressing the divisional meeting at Rewa on Thursday said that the part workers should become bridge between people and the government and should become torchbearer for making people aware with the achievements of state and central governments.
“Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu would visit the Vindhya region on October 18 and by performing the ‘Bhumipujan’ of lalitpur – Singrauli rail line would open the doors of development through this gift,” Chouhan said.
Chouhan further said that Rs 2800 crore have been sanctioned for the lalitpur – Singrauli rail line this would help in development of the Vindhya region. With industrialization the imbalance of the region would be removed by maintaining balance between agriculture and industries, he added.
He said that Madhya Pradesh lagged behind in rail and road transport since independence because the then political leadership ignored the regional development. During the Atal Bihari Vajpayee led BJP government at centre efforts in this direction started. After formation of Narendra Modi led BJP government at centre in 2014 the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh these efforts were revived, he added.
He said that we need to deliver the information of development to the masses and for that we should indulge actively in it. The party workers would enhance their leadership by delivering the development saga of the state and central government to the masses.
This would also increase their popularity and they would also become known in the party like Janardan Mishra has done by becoming parliamentarian from a simple worker, he added.
