On the directives of Election Commission of India, revision and attestation of photo electoral rolls will continue till July 31. So far, Aadhar Numbers of 47 lakh 23 thousand 375 voters and one crore 2 lakh 74 thousand 499 mobile numbers have been linked with voter identity cards. The State has total 4 crore 89 lakh voters. For making their voter IDs error-free, they should contact their BlO/Elector Registration Officer for linking Voter ID card (EPIC) with Aadhar and mobile number. They should make available their name, Aadhar and mobile number, e-mail, voter card in prescribed form number along photo copies of EPIC and Aadhar Card. A voter should fill form-8 for correction in his name, father/mother’s name, date of birth etc.
Chief Electoral Officer has appealed to voters that if their names are entered in electoral roll of any place other than their correct residence then they should get it deleted it from there by filling form-7. For linking Aadhar with EPIC, voter should visit www.ceomadhyapradesh.nic.in. Using link, they can themselves get linked their Voter ID Cards with Aadhar and mobile number. Besides, this process can also be undertaken by sending SMS to 1950 or 51696.
