Bhopal: Governor and Chancellor Ram Naresh Yadav has appointed retired judge Justice IS Shrivastava as officer to inquire into incident of eve-teasing and manhandling of girl students of Physics Department in Barkatullah University, Bhopal. The incident had occurred on the university premises on January 3, 2013.
Judge will undertake inquiry on 7 points and submit his report to the Governor within a month. The terms of of inquiry include actual reasons behind incident, circumstances, immediate action taken by the university, role of VC, and Registrar, action against erring persons and suggestions to prevent such type of incidents in future etc.
