The monsoon rains have played havoc in the district like everywhere else in the state but the crisis management cell of the Gwalior Municipal Corporation (GMC) is even unaware of the dilapidated buildings under its limits. If it rains heavily in the coming days as predicted by Meteorological department than several families may face terrible situation if the buildings they live in met with any untoward incidence , and if this happens than Municipal Corporation of Gwalior will be responsible for this misery.
GMC Commissioner Anay Dwivedi had to reprimand the negligence of
field staff of Corporation later after the instruction of Municipal Commissioner Dwivedi demarcation of houses was started.

He further instructed to submit the report but till date no one has turned up with the complete assignment. All the respective zonal officers were instructed by Municipal Commissioner Dwivedi that they should coordinate with the officers and their workers of Police station, Tehsildars, Fire Brigade, Control Room, Nigam Workshop. Also zonal officers have to be in regular communication with hospitals, doctors etc.
