Expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Minister Raghavji met his family members and associates at the Central Jail, where he was lodged after being sent to judicial custody on Tuesday.

His son, lokesh Sanwala, daughter Jyoti Shah (who is also chairperson of Vidisha Municipal Corporation) visited Raghavji along with his (Raghavji) close associates Ashutosh Mishra and Piyush Kundra on Wednesday. They held discussions for nearly 35 minutes in a closed chamber. Unconfirmed sources said they about bail petition of the jailed leader.

Meanwhile, Raghavji's advocate Purushottam Panchvani moved a bail petition in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Sanjeev Kalganvkar on Wednesday, after the bail plea was rejected by the district court earlier. The court will decide on the bail plea on Thursday. Meanhile, Raghavji had a normal day in B- Block of Barrack no 10 at the Central Jail where he was sent on Tuesday. The jail authorities have provided him two bed-sheets, bowl, a plate and a glass like other prisoners.

He was also provided a newspaper. He had his meals properly along with other prisoners. A medical examination was also conducted on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Jail authorities are keeping a watch on his health because Raghavji was not feeling well when he was sent to custody. His health, however, is normal. The jail authorities also denied rumours of Raghavji weeping in lockup. They said that Raghavji was behaving perfectly normal and talked very little.
