High speed oscillation trials are conducted by Research Designs and Standards Organization (RDSO) of Indian Railways, tests are considered to be of high standard. Checks are required such as maintenance of tracks, bridges, signalling, OHE and allied assets.
The oscillation trials selected by RDSO include Kota-Nagda and Kota-Mathura sections of Kota division and Itarsi-Bhopal and Bhopal-Bina section of Bhopal division. West Central Performance is one of the best in these sections in conducting further oscillation trials and testing the design features of the new locomotive and rolling stock.
West Central Railway Mathura-Kota-Nagda section (549 route km) of Kota Division of West Central Railway is one of the selected section on Indian Railways for all high speed trials.
West Central Railway is also becoming the leading railway in conducting oscillation trials in the year 2022-23. It may be mentioned that from April 10 to July 10, 2022, oscillation trials of about 6500 km have been conducted on WCR, successfully conducting 75 trial runs at high speed in the speed band of 130 to 180 kmph.
West Central Railway has once again performed well in conducting High Speed Oscillation Trials which shows the high level of maintenance and dedication of all the employees and officers of West Central Railway.
