The court of Special POCSO Judge Bhopal district Kavita Verma on Monday, sentenced Pyaare Miyan and Avesh Evam to natural life imprisonment for sexually abusing a minor and 20 years imprisonment to Sweety Vishwakarma for co-operation in sexual exploitation and for abortion, and fine and Dr Hemant was punished with 5 years imprisonment and fine for conducting abortion, the case was advocated by Special Public Prosecutor PN Singh Rajput.
Kohefiza police registered case under section 376, 376(2)(n), 376(2-I), 376(2-f), section 342 , 506 of the IPC and section 5(l), 5(n) and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act 2012.
Pyaare Miyan, a 68-year-old journalist who raped minors, has been sentenced to life imprisonment 4 in different cases. Manager Owais, who supported Pyare Miyan, has also been sentenced to life imprisonment and female accused Sweety Vishwakarma has been sentenced to 20 years in jail. Dr Hemant Mittal, who conducted the abortion of the girls, has also been sentenced to 5 years.
On July 2, 2020 police found minor girls in drunken state from Pyare’s Ratibad place and after which atrocity surfaced.
On 20 July 2020, the police arrested Pyare Mian from Kashmir. After being accused of sexual abuse, animal cruelty, illegally liquor carrying.
Among the minor victim of sexual abuse a minor died on January 18 at Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal. The victim was staying at the Juvenile Shelter( Balika Grah), where she had consumed a lot of sleeping pills. After his condition became critical, he was put on ventilator, where he died during treatment.
