Pvt schools fail to furnish information on fee structure

PNS

Even 25 days after the directives of Collector Sanjay Goyal to the private schools to provide the information about fees, dress and admission related matters to the DEO, the schools failed.

Following this, the DEO has issued the notice to the private schools. Some of the schools have provided the information which is not as per the requirement.

Collector Goyal has sent the letter on March 31 to 1200 MP Board Schools and CBSE affiliated 42 schools to provide all the relevant information about the fee structure, Uniform and admission related process and after that to provide the convenience to the schools date was extended from April 5 to 20 but till date more than three hundred private schools haven’t provide the information.

Admission process, uniform and fees related information from the private schools was required as private schools are working in their own interest to earn more revenue from the students. District Education Officer Vikas Joshi has issued the notice to the schools and cautioned them to terminate their affiliation. As some of the schools have not provided the information so it is difficult for the Collector Goyal to form the inspection teams and now soon summer vacation will start so it won’t be possible to execute the inspection of private schools.

The affiliation of 16 schools has been terminated after the hearing in collector court. It was done as these 16 schools were unable to justify the increased strength in class 10.
