Staff of Central Region Power Distribution Company City Circle checked 45 connections in Bairagarh and Mahamai Ka Bagh. Power theft was detected in three of these connections. Bills worth Rs68,000 were served on these consumers. A team of the company led by Additional General Manager (Intelligence) Sanjay Nihlani checked connections in Mahamai Ka Bagh area and detected power theft through neutral control in one connection.
Bill worth Rs38,000 was served on the consumer. Another consumer was also found to be pilfering power through neutral control in the same area to which bill worth Rs12,000 was served. Similarly, a consumer was detected pilfering power through metre bypass. He was served bill of Rs18,000.
