Governor Mangubhai Patel has asked the trainee IPS officers to use their talent and knowledge to create such an environment in which citizens fear and respect the law instead of being afraid of law enforcers. No innocent should get punished. He said that the role of IPS officers is important in creating a sensitive and professional identity of the police force.

Governor Mangubhai Patel was addressing the trainee officers of Madhya Pradesh cadre of 74th batch of Indian Police Service at Raj Bhavan today. Governor Patel said that being an IPS officer, you will have a crucial responsibility on your shoulders. It is a service which is one of the pillars of our national administrative system.
