Koh-e-Fiza police have nabbed a miscreant who along with two others attempted robbery at a petrol pump in the area in the night on Thursday; two miscreants managed to escape the spot and are still at large.Police foiled the attempt of robbery at petrol pump and nabbed one of the miscreants who tried to rob the petrol pump.
The nabbed accused was identified as Salman who holds past crime record.Complaint was lodged by the victim Hasan Ali who is manager with the petrol pump and was on duty in the night when the three came and demanded money at knife point which the victim refused after which they damaged the office of petrol pump.SP North Shailendra Chouhan said that the miscreants tried to commit robbery but failed in their attempt. One of the miscreants Salman has been arrested while search for the two absconding has been intensified.The petrol pump was targeted by the three who tried to rob the victim at knife point, he added.
During the investigation it was found that the miscreant’s came to the petrol pump for robbery and while they were t the spot staff at the petrol pump informed Dial 100.
The Kotwali police were informed and Dial 100 rushed to the post and policeman S Digga tried to nab the accused but the countered him assault and later policeman from Shahjehanabad police Santosh reached spot who also faced opposition from miscreants, soon Koh-e-Fiz police rushed to the spot and nabbed Salman while two escaped the spot.
