Shahpura police have identified bike borne miscreants who robbed a 51-year-old woman of her mobile phone at Bawadia Kalan on Saturday; suspects are involved in robberies and other crimes in the past, said police.
According to the police, the victim Sangeeta Goenka was near her society gate when she was attacked by two bike borne miscreants and snatched the mobile phone she was carrying. The victim escaped unhurt in the attack and braved to raise alert and chase them but failed.
She approached police and a complaint was lodged with Shahpura police. In the complaint the victim claimed that the two bike borne miscreants in the age group of 30 years appeared and attacked her and escaped with the mobile phone she was carrying. She raised alarm but before she could be helped the miscreants managed to escape the spot.The victim was not able to notice the registration number of the bike as the miscreants escaped the spot at a fast very speed.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 392 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
