Kolar police arrested two persons involved in burnt a 35-year-old man to death on October 26 at Gareeb Nagar; accused killed man after having a fight in the evening and locked at his house.
According to the police Suraj Nath (20) and Akku alias Akash Porpant (21) of Gareeb Nagar who killed Vinod Ahirwar at his shanty.
During the investigation police found that the deceased had old enmity with the two and in the evening on October 26 they had a fight with the deceased which was pacified by the locals and later in the night, they went to his shanty and attacked him with wooden sticks, locked him inside and put the shanty on fire and escaped the spot.
In the initial investigation, circumstantial evidences suggests the death was suspicious and later in the investigation it was found that the deceased had fight before he was killed and the two were narrowed and detained.
After the locals spotted shanty gutted in fire they rushed to rescue but failed to save him as the shanty was found locked from outside. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation in which accused were identified and arrested. Police have registered a case under sections 302, 342 and 34 of the IPC and started further investigation.
The deceased before death lodged complaint with the CM helpline 181 which was found in the investigation by the police and was a vital clue in investigation.
