The SIT and STF have been accused of the death of Dr Rajendra Arya in connection with the PMT scam. Two other accused of the PMT scam who were kept in jail with the deceased have said that Dr Arya died due to police pressure.Earlier, wife of the deceased had accused SIT in this case. The SIT was accused of harassment that caused the death of Dr Rajendra Arya in the Birla Hospital. Other accused of PMT scandal lodged in the jail with Dr Rajendra Arya said that they met Dr Arya during the attendance in the court. He was very disturbed. He told him that STF and SIT are harassing him very much.
Dr Arya said that on the call of STF he went to the office where he was made to sign on blank papers and the officials demanded more cash. He had to pay Rs 15,000 to them. He was suggested going to the court but before that he died. The demand of Rs 1 lakh of CSP Jhansi road was mentioned in the affidavit. The CSP Jhansi road Jor Singh Bhadauria has separated him from the enquiry by submitting the PMT case diary in April 2014.The office of STF is in Aamkho Kampu near bus stand but the applicant stated that the office of STF is in Thatipur. In fact it is the SIT office which is the office of ASP Virendra Jain.
