leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Ajay Singh has demanded resignations of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Technical Education Minister laxmikant Sharma on moral grounds after BJP education cell convener Sudhir Sharma’s name has surfaced in the medical entrance test (PMT) scam.
Notably, the Special Task Force (STF) of Madhya Pradesh police that is investigating the PMT scam, served a notice to Sudhir Sharma for appearing in the STF office for investigation. After PET, PMT examination scams five more examination scams were surfaced in which FIR was registered by STF. Summoning of convener of the BJP education cell convener, President of CRISP and main accused of the mining scam Sudhir Sharma in connection to the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) examination scam by STF proves links of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Minister for Technical Education laxmikant Sharma with the examination scams.
Form the initial stages of the investigations allegations were raised that the scam were done under the patronage of the bigwigs of the political leaders of the State Government which was confirmed after the arrest of the former exam controller of MPPEB Pankaj Trivedi as Trivedi was close to Minister of Technical Education and Sudhir Sharma.
The exposed scams have brought embarrassment for the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan who claims to be a well wisher of youth and makes tall claims of providing employment to the youth as in the history of the state scams on such a huge scale has never been reported.
