The State president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Member of Parliament Nandkumar Singh Chouhan said that the pilgrims would be overwhelmed by the arrangements made for their safety and convenience during the ‘Shahi Snan’ on May 9.
Chouhan said that the Simhastha area has recovered from the recent climatic catastrophe with the help of the public and the immediate response from the administration. This is the reason pilgrims from all around the nation will be coming to the Simhastha he added.
He further said that the administration has arranged for transport till Kshipra’s pious Ghat which will help the pilgrims in conveyance. They won’t have to walk far with this arrangement. On one side the administration is encouraging religious acts of the Simhastha and on the other side it is cautious and active about the cleanliness of the river.
Chouhan informed that the administration there has taken steps for the hygiene and safety of the pilgrims on both banks of Kshripa. On the Ghat there are divers for the safety of pilgrims taking dip during the ‘Shahi Snan.’He also said that the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government of the state has presented the ‘Atithi Devo Bhav’ (Guests are equal to gods) thought in front of the saints and pilgrims at Simhastha.
To avail pollution free fuel for cooking temporary gas connections have been allotted to the pilgrims and saints and they are also being provided with ration. Similarly in other sectors as well full proof arrangements have been made.
