The Prestige Institute of Engineering Management and Research (PIEMR) took the initiative to organize an impactful seminar on “Digital Arrest and Cyber Crime.” Designed to raise awareness and provide actionable insights, the event empowered participants, particularly students, with the knowledge and tools to stay secure in the online world.
The seminar featured insightful sessions by two distinguished law enforcement experts: Abhinay Vishvakarma, DCP Zone II, Indore, and Chandrakant Patel, Station in charge, Vijay Nagar Police Station. Their combined expertise provided a comprehensive understanding of cybercrime trends, preventive measures, and the importance of digital hygiene.
The program commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Manojkumar Deshpande, Senior Director of PIEMR, who underscored the growing need for cybercrime awareness in an increasingly digitized society. “Education is not just about innovation but also about safeguarding ourselves from emerging threats,” he emphasized.
