Designer Rakhis are also in trend. The diamond and stone studded rakhis are also in demand. Besides, rakhis with names are carved on them. Sisters are byuing personalised rakhis for thier brother and so brothers are buying personalised gifts for thier sisters.
Besides, as the people are getting crazy about shopping for this day, they like to buy new dresses for themselves especially traditional costumes.
The females on this day dress up themselves in really pretty attire, put mehendi on hands and also wear bangles.
Garima Jain, a student says, “For this Raksha Bandhan I have bought a sari. It is really a pretty one, adorned with zari work of net cloth and I will also put Arabic style mehendi on hands to add more traditional look in my attire.”
This day is special for both, brother and sister and so even the males are not behind in shopping cool but traditional costumes for themselves.
